Desert's Best Musical Extravaganza 2013

The Desert's Best Musical Extravaganza is an explosive event that celebrates multi-cultural, intergenerational, family-based fun! To be held October 19th 2013 at the Yuma County Fairgrounds. Activities will include free health screenings, safety workshops by the Yuma Police Department, youth games and attractions. Talent Competition with a $1000.00 Cash Prize, 3-3 Basket-Ball Tournament, Native American Cultural Expo featuring Nakota LaRance “Six Time World Champion Hoop Dancer”, Azteca Dancers. Evening concert featuring Kirk Franklin’s Fo Yo Soul recording artist “The Walls Group”, Jimmie Needham, GSW, and Dr. Robert Ornelas (first Latin American ever to run for vice presidential candidacy) and the SOG Crew Transportation from outlying communities will be available.
